Argentina

Marissa = childhood friend
Shayna = friend at SC
Theo = ex-boyfriend, friend

Marissa had been talking about taking a trip to Argentina. I had just returned from New Zealand and felt like this would somehow give me insight into how she should plan her trip. I helped her do some research and then I was somehow going on the trip too.
I was in some place staying at an inn with a bunch of people who were going to be on my trip to Argentina. Shayna was there too and we got to room together. We were assigned room number four. When we got inside I immediately claimed the best bed. The room was very small and there were three single beds, each of which was covered in a quilt that looked home-made. I guessed that when you stay at an inn it is more like a home, as opposed to a hotel. I had a plane ticket to San Jose but I really wanted to go to Berkeley to see Theo before I went on my trip. I kept meaning to get on the computer to buy a plane ticket to Berkeley instead but I kept getting distracted. I asked around to people if they wanted to buy a ticket to San Jose off me but no one was interested. Before I ever took care of it it was time to go to Argentina. I hadn't packed everything yet and my plane was leaving in a couple hours.
I got to customs and put a bunch of my things haphazardly on a conveyor belt at the security checkpoint. It wasn't in a backpack, so my things were mixed in with a bunch of other people's at the checkpoint. The conveyor belt just went around in a circle, and during one rotation I saw an Asian woman with her baby sitting on the belt. I had put a bunch of vegetables in bags onto the belt, and then asked the customs guy if we were allowed to transport vegetables. He said we weren't, I felt stupid for not remembering that. I was starting to feel really nervous about the trip and like I didn't want to go anymore. The main reason I really wanted to go was that Shayna was going to go too, but I wasn't sure if I was ready for a whole month of non-stop activity.
