Death Right Around the Corner

I was Less Than Jake--I somehow represented the whole band. I was in a park with Kyle and Chris, and we saw a pursuit. Someone was in a car, running from 4 cops in Beetles. The suspect got out of his car, and I decided we should be heroes. Chris and Kyle asked for guns, so I gave them one each. The suspect ran towards us (and everyone else that was in the park), and people started shooting at him. A girl and a guy climbed down from a tree because of the commotion, and the girl started putting her pink shirt back on. I assumed they were in the tree having sex.
I hid behind a wall, and the suspect came around it and stood right in front of me, assessing if I was dangerous, and figuring out if he should shoot me or not. As he was doing that, someone tried to shoot him, so he fired back. He realized that I had a gun, so he shot right at me from a short distance, but must've missed. I brought out my gun from behind my back and tried shooting him, but the bullets were really slow--the gun sucked. When I realized that my weapon was useless, I started running away, while firing more shots. One shot was decent; the bullet came out kinda fast, but still not hard enough to penetrate his skin. The bullet bounced off of him, and looked like it hurt. He then must've shot me, because at that moment, I knew I was dying.
Some people helped me walk to a safe area indoors, where I collapsed to the ground and crawled around. I saw a box of Tyrannosaurus Rocks cds, so I gave them to a lady and told her, "Give all of the band's money and cds to less fortunate kids when this is over." Then I started crying.
In retrospect: I think I was dreaming about a guy running from the cops because of the conversations me, Brian, and Carley had last night about getting robbed.

That is so sad... haha. Dying dreams are really interesting, I've heard from different people that it's supposidly impossible to die in your dreams. But obviously that's not true, I've had dying dreams as well... at least you got to be Less Than Jake.
There's a big difference between dyING and...DYing--dammit, that came out wrong. Anyway, yeah, Justin said he was DYING, but he never actually DIED. Of course, i've had dreams like this too. I think it's supposedly impossible to DIE in your dreams, but to be dyING is definitely possible/common. I've never actually DIED in my dreams. I always wake up right before i actually die (which i believe is true for most people).
i know ive died before in at least one dream. once i got ran over by a steam roller (haha) and everything actually went black, and i could hear a guy's voice saying i had died. but you're right, justin didn't actually die in his dream i guess.
I know I've died, because I went to the afterlife in a dream, but I don't remember the transition from living to dead--so I don't know for sure if I actually died in my dream or not, but I thought I did. That was the best dream ever, 'cause the afterlife ruled.
Oh yeah, i think i remember hearing about that dream before.
PS. is the title of this entry from a Family Guy episode title?
Not that I know of. I was just trying to be smart with words since I was actually hiding behind a corner.
