Family, Death, and Work *sigh*
Night of: August 2
People Involved: Nisha Sehgal (family friend since I was born), Akash Sehgal (same), my brother (the son of my parents), my sister (daughter of my parents), my family (the people who raised me, gave birth to me, gave me shelter, etc.), Kyle (friend for 12 years), Mike Howitt (senior analyst that backed into my car at work)
Number of Dreams Remembered: 3
Length of Sleep: 13 hours
I was on a family vacation and my brother was irritating me. I finally exploded and started cursing. I remember my family looking at me when I was saying "shit." I told my brother, "You always act like you're sorry about how you treated me as a kid, but you're still like that!" That made him really quiet, like he was deeply hurt.
In Retrospect: Most of the wedding reception last night was hanging out with my brother by myself. He didn't treat me badly last night, but I think it was pretty bad when I was younger.
-----
My sister was asking me if I was free on certain day. She then said solemnly, "Will you go to Nisha's funeral?" I was shocked. I almost cried. I asked how she died, and my sister said, "She ate something and her intestines collapsed." I couldn't believe how quickly that could happen, and I said, "Of course I'll go."
The dream moved to a get-together with family friends. It wasn't the funeral, but the same people who would be there were at this event. I saw Nisha's brother, Akash. I didn't know if I should tell him I knew what happened, since it had just happened the day before. We pretended like nothing happened. He acted like he was okay, but I could tell that he was devastated.
In Retrospect: Nisha and Akash weren't at the reception last night, but I don't think they were invited, either... although there were over 1,000 people there. Indian receptions are freaking nuts. Remind me to get married in front of no more than 10 people.

Kyle got a job with me, but he hadn't started yet. When I got to work, our desks had moved, and I was now sitting near the back of the office; that kinda sucked because I'd be sitting far away from Kyle. I looked back and saw that he'd be sitting like 100 feet away, so I wouldn't be able to say anything to him during work.
I told Mike about the estimates I got for my car, but I forgot to bring the papers so he could see it.
In Retrospect: I got estimates for my car the other day. Also, Kyle got the job.
