Cocaine, Acid, and Pool Parties

Carly Christenson = girl I went to high school with
Paul = was in my elementary school classes, some high school
Pedro = Brazilian kid from my New Zealand trip
Andy = one of Theo's roomates
Taneen = ex-girlfriend
Diana Regal = elementary school rival (I hated her guts)
Theo = ex-boyfriend, good friend

I was planning a trip to Brazil with ISV. There had been many months of preparation, and me and a few other people were leaving from Santa Cruz tonight. I was throwing all of my things together very quickly and felt disorganized. I had bought cocaine recently, and me and one of the guys I was going with were combining our stashes into one bag, and were going to take it on the airplane with us. As I was putting all of it into one ziplock bag, I told the guy I didn't want it and that he could just take it all. I figured that it really wasn't worth trying to sneak it on the plane, but I didn't want to tell him that because he might get scared about it. He happily agreed and took all the coke. I felt relieved, and went to finish packing my things.
One of the guys had agreed to give me a ride to the airport with him. I was getting more and more second thoughts by the minute, and finnaly just decided I didn't want to go. I got on the bus to go downtown instead. While I was waiting for the bus I started talking to a girl, Carly Christenson, who was saying she had to take a special bus to get to a certain off-campus housing development. I couldn't figure out what she was talking about, but after a while of her explaining it to me I finnaly understood where she was going.
When I got on the bus, it was kind of like being in zero gravity, or at least half-gravity. The bus was very jerky, and I had such a big bag with me that every bump we went over would put me way off balance. At one point I started to fall off of my chair, but kind of started to float around. The guy who had been sitting next to me, who was actually Paul, took my hand and guided me back into my seat. I was greatful to him for that.
When I got downtown I ran into Pedro. I told him all about the trip I had been planning and how I backed out. He was bummed for me but said I should just come stay with him in Brazil some time. I told him that would be great and that I would love to.
Somehow all of a sudden I was on acid. I told Pedro I was on acid, and he said that it was going to be very crazy. The things he was talking about were kind of stressing me out, so I said goodbye to him and found Theo. I told Theo all about the plans I had made with Pedro. One of the effects of the acid was that everything I heard in my surroundings was amplified in my head, and I could hear a lot of voices in my head talking to me. I thought it was kind of cool. I also felt very good physically. Theo and I walked over river street to neary lagoon. There was a beautiful forest there, and there were lots of people walking around, Andy was there. I found a little tunnel made of trees that looked absolutely beautiful. I showed it to Theo, and then started to crawl through it on my hands and knees.
I had come back up to campus with my mom and we were on a cliffside admiring the ocean. She asked which college was closest to the beach, I told her that none of them were close to the beach, but I guess the closest would be Porter. Then I had to leave for an event. I walked up a path with Taneen. We arrived at a pool party and were all swimming. Diana Regal was there and she slipped on the wet tile and slid into a pole. I said something to the effect of, "well at least you didn't fall in the pool". Halfway through the pool party I changed from my bathing suit into this blue one-piece. I thought to myself that this bathing suit must be infinitely less-attractive than the other one, and then tried to forget that thought. This whole thing was somehow related to one of my classes or school, so at the end of it, a lady rounded us up and was talking to us about the succesfull quarter. As she was talking and going over a few key points, the water in the pool started to drain. I pointed this out to her, and she said she didn't know why that was happening and kept talking.
