Second Thoughts

Kim = my CA (living assistant/RA/thing)
Ryan = friend from NZ

I was at my grandma's house with Theo having dinner because I was going to Thailand the next day. We had to rush to finish dinner because I had to go catch my plane.
I was inside the plane, which was really just a huge room we were all sitting in. I realized I hadn't given any thought to the fact that I was leaving, and suddenly felt really scared of being disconnected for a month.
I was now getting there in a car somehow. Kim was driving and we were talking about the trip. All I had with me was one little backpack. She told me she was the project leader for the trip, and that made me really happy.
We got to the project site and I came into the room where people were meeting. Everyone seemed really bored, and it was kind of a depressing way to arrive. Ryan was sitting at the table, and when I said hi to him, he kind of jumped and said he hadn't recognized me. There were animals everywhere. There was a sea otter sitting outside, and inside were these little birds that looked like Kiwis. I picked one up and was petting it, then one of the girls in the room said "eeeew". I looked down and saw that the bird had peed on me. I didn't really care, but was kind of embarassed.

I applied to go to Thailand next summer with the same group I went to NZ with last summer.... in case you didn't notice from my dreams.... I'm kind of having second thoughts.

Second thoughts, huh? I didn't quite get that, but i DID find it odd that it's almost a year away, and you already seem to be dreaming about it a lot.
