Shayna's Coming Home

Shayna = dear friend
Daniel = kind from SC
Will Spangler= kid from sc
Nina= roomate
Wilder Ranch= state park in far upper campus
Erin= friend

I was hiking along a cliffside somewhere. Somehow I had acquired a bike and was trying to get back to campus on it. There were two people walking in front of me and as I rode by them on my bike I got stuck in this mud and fell down. The people helped me up and told me that I have to be more careful. I told them I wasn't used to riding a bike. They were very nice and took me home with them to make sure I was alright. When we got to their house there were a lot of people over and it was some sort of party. Somehow these people knew my mom and were talking to me about her. I left their house by climbing over the fence in their sideyard.
I was now in someone's house with a bunch of people I know from school and we were all battling each other. People were picking up random objects and throwing them. It was supposed to be fun, but people didn't realize that what they were doing was actually dangerous and could hurt someone. There was one guy in particular that kept throwing things at me. I poured really hot salsa on his head.
I ran away from the battle and started hiking back to campus. I realized that Shayna was supposed to come home today, and that since I had been gone all day she was probably already back. As I was hiking I went by a girl who asked how to get to Wilder Ranch. I pointed to the path perpendicular to mine and told her to just keep following it for a really long time.
Eventually I got back to my apartment and Daniel and Will Spangler were outside talking to someone. They were talking to me about Erin and how good of friends we had become this year. As we were having this conversation they were staring into a white wastebasket that a third person was holding up, there was a sticker at the bottom of it that was a little star. I told them that Erin and I were mostly friends by default. And they interpreted this as a very mean thing to say. I tried to explain what I meant because it probably wouldn't have happened if Erin didn't live next door to me. However at this point it was too late and they thought I was an ass hole. I told them that I loved Erin and I'm glad she's my friend.
Earlier I had made plans with Nina to cook dinner together. I was in the living room putting tablecloths over little tables. Theo was sitting on a couch against the closet. I asked Theo if he would like to join us, and he said no. I then realized that since Shayna was coming home tonight I really just wanted to hang out with her anyway. I felt bad for ditching Nina.
Shayna was home and sitting in my apartment. I was so excited to see her that I felt like I couldn't even express that. I was sitting there feeling so anxious while she walked around being normal. She was being very quiet, and this was a rather dissapointing interaction since I had looked forward to her coming home for so long. But I was still very glad she was there, and I was very happy.

Shayna has been on a backpacking trip for two months and is finnaly coming home on the 7th. I can't wait.
