Get a Job!

I dreamed that i finally talked to Jeff Girard, or rather...he talked to me. I guess we were at some sort of church function, and he talked to me and said something like, "Are you ready to come work for me?" I excitedly cut him off and said, "yeah, but i'm gonna be gone in a couple weeks." Then he asked something like, "What's it gonna take to get you to come work for me?" I assumed he was talking about money, so i tried to avoid the question (that reminds me, i still haven't gotten paid from when i worked for paul like 2 weeks ago...) and i said something along the lines of, "Well, i'm not actually ready to WORK yet, but if somebody's gonna train me, i'm ready to be trained." This appeared to make him sad, and he said something like, "yeah, it doesn't look like that's gonna happen." That obviously made ME sad, and i figured it was time to start looking down other avenues for work.
This dream was NOT very encouraging, but i definitely need to talk to Jeff. This is something i've been stewing over for months (and this is the first time i've dreamt about it). I've been hesitant to open communication with him because i don't really know what to say, and i'm afraid he'll say something like what he said in the dream here. Last time i talked to him at the office didn't go very well because the main guy i was supposed to meet wasn't there, so, basically, Jeff said, "go home and play with it, and see what you think." ("it" being Flash). This didn't really do anything for me because i still have no idea what i'd actually be doing for him. I keep putting off calling him because i've been hoping that he would come up and talk to me. See, the conversation went very smoothly and easily when he came up to me in the dream, but i don't know what i'd say if i were to open the conversation. At first, i was thinking this meant i should call him tonight, but then i remembered that there is a church function on thursday that i wasn't really planning on attending. Perhaps if i go to THAT, then he will come up to me. That'd be swell.
