The Teddy Bear Thief
I really don't remember much at all from these now...
I was in a grocery store. Someone had stolen a teddy bear that was very valuable.
Then I was in class at a school and trying to find a chair to sit in. The room was set up like an elementary school classroom in that it had tables with multiple chairs at each one, as opposed to individual desks. Every table had a computer for each person that sat there. When I finnaly found an open seat I saw that there was a laptop at it instead of a PC, so someone must have brought their own computer and that must be their seat. I don't think I ever found a seat, and probably ended up sitting on the floor. Then the teacher came in and it was a substitute. The teacher started doing this elaborate fireworks display for the class, which culminated with him sitting on a bed surrounded by flames and exploding fireworks, and somehow jumping out of it unharmed. In the dream I thought this was very silly, and started thinking about how teachers feel obligated to entertain their students, as opposed to just teach.
I think I left the class and went to talk to Ryan. We were sitting in this vacant field and I started talking to him about all these things I have been wanting to tell him in my waking life. In the dream I explained myself perfectly and he was understanding. After we had finished talking we were walking up this road on a huge hill in the dark. There were a lot of people walking up the same hill, and on the side of the road there were bushes with huge pink flowers on them.
I eventually went back to the teddy bear dream. Theo was with me now in front of the grocery store and I had somehow recovered the stolen teddy bear. I was standing in front of a drop-box that was specifically there so that someone could anonymously return the teddy bear. There was an old man in a wheel chair who might have been the teddy thief, and he was now sitting there paralized with his back turned to me and one arm in the air. Theo and I were debating about weather or not I should return the bear. I wanted to keep it, and Theo was trying to convince me that it was the right thing to do for me to return it. I think I ended up running away with the bear, becase I remember dodging store employees and running through brown double doors.

I found this dream very interesting for a couple of reasons. First of all, this is the second time within a few nights that a bed has been a key object in a dream (kind of random?).
I also find it wierd that in many of my dreams I spend a lot of time thinking about stuff, just like I would sit and think about something in my waking life (in this dream I just sat and thought about teaching and why kids have to be entertained to learn) and the thoughts I have are logical conclusions I would normally make in the real world.
The conscious-like thinking in dreams facilitates for having logical conversations with people in dreams that go exactly how I would expect/want them to in my waking life. In this dream, the conversation I had with Ryan was about something I've actually been meaning to talk to him about, and I told him exactly what I would want to in my waking life.
I'm sure these things happen to you guys as well, but they seem kind of strange...?
YOU were the teddy bear thief all along!
Bobo!
The part I found interesting was Theo saying it was the best thing to do and you wanted to hold onto "it." I would definitely think the bear is a metaphor.
yeah for sure... bobo?
Bobo is a priceless teddy bear of Mr. Burns'. He lost it when he was a child and Maggie finds it. Much of the episode is about returning the bear/the right thing to do.
wow, i dont even watch the simpsons and it's infiltrating my subconscious
gooooooood. gooooooooood.
as it should be.
