A Tour of the Kitchen

Night of: August 12
People Involved: Brian, Chris Church (co-worker in my depts. and sits next to me), Chris, Kyle, Kyle's mom
Number of Dreams Remembered: 4
Length of Sleep: 10.5 hours

I was at work, and I wanted to get up and away from the computer. I walked into the cafeteria. Two girls came in, and one of them was new. The new girl wanted really specific food, as if she was allergic to a lot of things. The other girl was there to help her order. This was pretty interesting to me, so I kinda stood around, wasting time, watching what was going on with the order. They tried to place an order for a quesadilla, toasted at zero temperature, and with some sort of special cheese.
That's when the head chef came in. He explained that they'd have to use a very old machine to do this, and that he couldn't guarantee that it would work. He took us to the back, giving us a tour, and showed us what it looked like. The back area was huge, and very industrial looking. The older machine was tall, and had a sort of dynamite/syringe device on the top. I looked around, and noticed that there were pictures of the workers. I found the head chef in one of the pictures; I guessed he was about 24 in the picture, and he was now about 55.
I realized that I had been away from my desk for a long time, so I walked back, and noticed that a huge group of other workers were walking in the same direction, so I joined them to pretend like I was with their group and had just got back from doing something important. I could see Chris Church looking at me walk with the big group.
When I got back, there was a big movie presentation, with the employees sitting on the ground. Someone said something, and I said a joke in return, and kinda laughed to myself. No one else laughed, except Brian, who basically laughed uncontrollably. Everyone could hear him.

In retrospect: I don't know if it's coincidence, but I really think the machine having that syringe/dynamite look was because Brian mentioned that he was trying to draw that with his eyes closed when playing Cranium one time. Dreaming about walking away from the desk makes sense to me, because whenever I get up to walk around, I feel like the people next to me wonder where I'm going and what I'm doing, and if I take awhile, then they really wonder what was going on.

I was driving with Chris in the passenger seat, and Brian was following us. There was music playing in my car, and we were playing a game--whoever could sing the harmonies closest to the real parts in the song would win. Brian was somehow in control of what songs were playing, and was acting as the judge. He played System of a Down for basically every other song, which was good for me because I knew the harmonies well. Chris seemed to be guessing the harmonies, so I knew I was going to win. Even though Brian was in a different car, he would somehow know who won.
While we were driving, Brian kinda got sidetracked and split away from us, but he eventually found his way back.

In retrospect: BURN IT!

Kyle asked me if we're hanging out on Thursday, and I asked, "Aren't you going to Arizona with your dad?" He said that he cancelled, and then I saw his mom upset with him for cancelling.

In retrospect: Kyle said he might not be around this weekend because he might go to Arizona with his dad.

My hair was falling out in long strips. It was pretty disturbing.

Yeah, that's definitely the first thing that came to my mind when i read "dynamite/syringe."
I was also gonna say that it sounded like you were listening to System, but you mentioned that too, so poo.

Looks like we're on the same wavelength. Oh, and I just remembered another dream from last night.
