Backwards Moving Violation
Night of: September 5
People Involved: Kyle, my mom, my dad, my sister, Ryan Wheeler (junior high/high school friend), Willy Brummund (junior high/high school friend), Hailey Hart (Kyle's little sister)
Number of Dreams Remembered: 3
Length of Sleep: 9 hours
I drove to work with Kyle, and wanted to park near the front, so I passed by some empty spaces in the back. When I actually started looking for a spot, there were none in the front, but I had just passed one, so I backed up, and backed into a parking spot. I backed in slowly because there were two police officers standing right next to it... that, and the van next to me was on the line, which made it even more difficult to park.
The cops came up to me and asked for my license. He asked me why I backed in, and told me that I wasn't looking when I was doing it. I explained that this was the first time in my 2-3 months working that I've backed in. I was really worried that it was going to be a moving violation as opposed to a parking ticket.
This somehow led to one of the police officers talking to me about music. He played guitar, too. We talked about some stuff, and he said it was time to go. He didn't write me a ticket, but said he could always write me one later. I thanked him "for everything" and said "I wish I had a dad like you." He was shocked and said, "I could really use a son like you."
I walked into work 4 hours late, but instead of being at work, I was in my old house in Laguna. My mom asked me why I was late to work, and I explained what had happened. My dad and sister were also there.
-----
I was hanging out with Ryan and Willy, and we started racing. I was totally out of breath because I was singing System of a Down songs as I was running.
-----
I kept bugging Kyle about his little sister, Hailey.
In Retrospect: I was doing this earlier.
