Retro Chic

My garage was on fire. A lot of my Mom's things were in the middle of the floor and I was trying to keep the important stuff from catching fire. I had a hose that I used sparingly, only to maintain the fire rather than put it out. There was a box of important things that caught fire for a minute but then I put it out. When the fire finnally went out, this Asian family was there and I was trying to keep them away from the stuff. They had a baby with them that I had somehow helped to save. They got in their green mini van and drove away. My mom came into the garage and I was telling her what happened. I showed her the box and she opened it to find that nothing looked severely damaged. She seemed very calm about the whole thing and was greatful for my help.
I was about to go out with somebody. I went into a woman's shop when it was closed and was looking through her wardrobe. They were all old lady clothes but I decided to wear them in a way that made them look cool in a retro kinda way. I put on a baggy red hippie shirt with a gold vest. I was wearing red lipstick and my hair was back in a ponytail. Someone told me to fix my hair, but I was afraid to wash it because it might come out and then I wouldn't have it anymore.
